Explore different posing options aside from everyone facing the camera together. Try to show the personality of each person. Use a neutral, non-distracting background and consider the lighting. Self Portrait
Take a series of self portraits in two styles. The first style is traditional, meaning that you have to be in the frame. The second style is conceptual, meaning that the photo should tell a story about who you are, though you don’t necessarily have to be in the frame. Submit 2 photos.
Dear Photograph
Take a printed picture from the past, photograph it in the same location at present time.
Submit 3 final “Dear Photograph” images. It’s best to start with an old photo in a location that you can revisit. If the location has changed greatly since the original photograph, it has a greater impact.
