Split Toning – Split toning uses more than one color to tone a photograph. Traditionally, it has been used on black and white photos to create depth, but it can also be applied to color photography to add a cinematic mood or feel. Every filter you use on apps like Instagram utilizes split-toning to some degree. Use a gradient map adjustment layer in Photoshop, or the Split-Toning palette in Lightroom to tone two different photographs in both color and black and white.
Submit two photos that have been split toned, one color image that is toned and one monochromatic image that is toned.
